Monday February 8th we took a class trip to the Saskatoon Public Library. There we picked out some books that we would like to read throughout the semester. As I looked around the library after our tour, I could not decide what book to get so I choose to find a sports book. Sports are my favorite thing to watch, I thought a sports related book would be good for me. Cover-up by John Feinstein is the one I choose to read first. It’s about a mystery at the Super Bowl. I’m about thirty pages into the book and it is a little different then I thought it would be. I am very curious to see what actually happens at the Super Bowl. So far they have not given any hints to what might happen.
Stevie and Susan Carol are the main characters. They are on a Sports broadcast show on USTV. After three months Stevie is replaced and is then asked to go to the Super Bowl as a Columnist for the Washington Herald. I think this book will get more exciting as I read through it.

You had a great explanation about why you chose the book that you did, and a logical one. Do you have spring training camp for football this year? Perhaps this book will get you motivated for it.
ReplyDelete1)Support Your Thinking: You said that the book is different than you thought it would be. Explain what why it is different. What did you think it would be about?
2)Make Predictions:You mentioned that you are very curious to find out what happens at the Super Bowl. What do you think will happen at the Super Bowl.
Remember this blog is all about what YOU think, and why YOU think that.
Why, why, and why. Don't forget to explain your thinking.
Great start, and I look forward to learning just what the mystery is at the Super Bowl.
